DICK STEWART has been a major part of the New Hampshire, and national, fly fishing scene for decades.  His book, Universal Fly Tying Guide, is one of the most recognized titles in fly fishing.  Dick grew up in Pennsylvania and graduating from Penn State in 1961.  He moved to New Hampshire in 1974. Dick owned and operated North Country Angler in North Conway from 1978 to 1992.  He was the owner and Publisher/Editor of American Angler magazine and is the author or co-author of 10 books about fly tying.  Dick was also a founder of Fly Fish America magazine.  Dick has fished extensively across North America and elsewhere and while retired has remained involved in conservation.  He can be reached at rbstewart12@gmail.com.
