Free the Snake

Last year more than 400 people from throughout the Pacific Northwest came together on the water in support of the return of a free-flowing lower Snake River. This year, salmon and orca advocates, tribal members, anglers, and river soldiers of all stripes will gather again on the river to Free the Snake.

Join us September 7 and 8, 2018 when we'll say with one clear voice: it's time to remove four outdated, low-value, deadbeat dams on the lower Snake River.

This year's flotilla will feature legendary activist Winona LaDuke of the Ojibwa Nation as a special guest of Nimiipuu Protecting the Environment. Winona will be paddling with us and speaking on Saturday evening. Stay tuned for further details.

Bring your boat, all of your friends, and all of your friends' boats and join us at Chief Timothy Park outside of Clarkston, WA. We will gather on Friday food, music, education, and activities before we shove off Saturday morning for the on water rally.
