Custom State Heritage Fish Signs for Maine Public Lands

The Maine chapter of Native Fish Coalition is working on custom State Heritage Fish signs and backboards for posting on state-owned land managed by Bureau of Parks and Lands.

Having recently received the custom signs, BPL logo and colors, Maine Chapter Chair and National Secretary/Treasure Emily Bastian and National Vice Chair Bob Mallard spent the day painting wood backboards, mounting signs, and drilling the boards in preparation to post.

Special thanks to volunteer Bill Sheldon, writer for The Maine Sportsman, for making and donating the backboards so we can put our best foot forward on some of the best public lands in Maine. And thanks to Andy Cutko, Doug Reed, and Tim Post at BPL for their support.
