SAMANTHA ARONSON is a self-taught artist. She found her calling painting flies and fish. Her work has been praised for it’s realistic attention to detail, it’s accurate representations of individual flies and fish, and it’s respect for the history and traditions of the art of fly fishing.
Being able to use her work for the benefit of our water resources and native fish populations is the catalyst for why she paints.
Samantha's work has attracted a wide following, appearing in the American Museum of Fly Fishing and many other galleries. She has been featured in Fly Fish Journal and Mid Current, and has enjoyed collaborating with tyers from all over the globe including the late Lefty Kreh.
When not in her studio Sam enjoys fly fishing, sliding on snow and gardening.
