Ohio Women on the Fly will be hosting Ohio NFC for a workshop entitled Minnows that Matter. The purpose of the workshop is to familiarize folks with native non-game fish. Ohio NFC Chair Cameron Layne will demonstrate how to use various fish sampling methods to collect stream minnows for educational purposes, as well as discuss the important role these native minnows play in the ecosystem. .

The workshop will be held on the Olentangy River. The group will meet at the Whetstone Shelter #1 at the Columbus Park of Roses. Waders are recommended. The cost is $10 with the money used to fund the event. Attendance is limited to 20 participants.
