JOHN STRUCKER
JOHN STRUCKER was a retired university lecturer, researcher, and teacher educator. Prior to that he worked a variety of jobs, including machinist, labor and community organizer, and adult literacy teacher. From April through November John lived in Worthington, Massachusetts, where he served on the town Conservation Commission. A fly fisher from the age of 14, John pursued any fish that will take a fly including stripers, bluefish, largemouth and smallmouth bass, panfish, and landlocked salmon. But his favorite pastime, and passion, was exploring upland brooks and casting a light bamboo rod for wild native brook trout. These little natural wonders and survivors had captured his imagination since he was a child.
