CHRISTOPHER PARTRIDGE

CHRISTOPHER PARTRIDGE was born and raised in Rockland County in southeastern New York. He now resides in central New York where he works as a surveyor for a heavy construction company that specializes in road and bridge construction. He also served in the U.S. Army for 6 years including a deployment to Iraq in 2008. Christopher became enamored with wild native brook trout while attending State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry Forestry School in Cranberry Lake. He has logged hundreds of miles exploring the Adirondack backcountry in pursuit of them in the remote and undisturbed locations. His favorite wild native brook trout habitat are remote beaver ponds and small streams, especially those written about in the memoirs of the early inhabitants of the region. Christopher also pursues wild native brook trout in the lower Hudson Valley where they still hold on in the shadow of New York City. He can be reached at Info@NativeFishCoalition.org
