TODD JANESKI
TODD JANESKI has more than 25 years of experience in developing and leading programs and projects that address riverine, estuarine, and ocean resources management, policy development, natural area protection planning, environmental restoration and response to climate change. He works for the Virginia Commonwealth University Rice Rivers Center as a Natural Resources Program Manager and Environmental Scientist where he manages Virginia’s Healthy Waters Program at the VA Department of Conservation and Recreation, Division of Natural Heritage. The Virginia Healthy Waters Program seeks to identify and protect the most biologically and ecologically healthy streams, or those with high aquatic integrity. Prior to this Todd was a Senior Planner with the Maine State Planning Office managing the Priority Watersheds Program. He was also appointed to the Gulf of Maine Distinct Population Segment of Atlantic Salmon Recovery Team. Todd lives in Virginia and can be found with a fly rod in hand chasing native trout, landlocked salmon, stripers or false albacore throughout the country. He can be reached at tvjaneski@gmail.com
