DR. RICK VAN DE POLL
DR. RICK VAN DE POLL is the principal of Ecosystem Management Consultants of Sandwich, New Hampshire. Since 1988, EMC has completed bio-inventories and land management plans for the public and private sector on over 350,000 acres of land. Rick was a core faculty member for 15 years at Antioch New England Graduate School and an adjunct faculty member in the University of New Hampshire system since 2005. He has taught dozens of workshops and seminars on New Hampshire wildlife species, and served on several committees with the New Hampshire Fish and Game regarding updating the critically important Wildlife Action Plan. Rick served on the legislative Fish and Game Study Commission, whose task was to study the “efficiency and effectiveness of the Fish and Game Department’s operations.” He currently serves on the Steering Committee of the New Hampshire Wildlife Coalition, whose mission is to help strengthen the Fish and Game Department by broadening its constituency and financial base, while providing an additional voice for stewardship of the state’s wildlife. In 2019, Rick joined Tin Mountain Conservation Center as their Research Director, whose primary duties are to oversee the Avian Project and the Trout Stream Enhancement Project.
