TRAVIS HINES
TRAVIS HINES has a passion for exploring the rugged mountains of West Virginia and working to protect the countless miles of streams that are home to wild native brook. Travis is an avid fly fisherman and hiker, and has been involved in numerous volunteer projects with West Virginia Division of Natural Resources (WVDNR), including habitat restoration, restoration stocking, and fish population surveys. This has allowed Travis to gain an understanding of the science behind efforts to protect wild native brook trout. He looks forward to helping NFC protect West Virginia’s wild native fish and the places they live, as well as inform and educate the masses as to how we can all become better stewards of the resource.
