ERIN FEICHTNER

Wilderness to the people of America is a spiritual necessity, an antidote to the high pressure of modern life, a means of regaining serenity and equilibrium.
— Sigurd F. Olson

ERIN FEICHTNER works as an aquatic biologist for a metro-Atlanta municipality where she assesses stream health by collecting water quality, biological population, and habitat data. Her employment is a natural fit for someone that enjoyed playing in streams and forests as a child. Erin feels strongly about protecting our water resources and believes all of us have the power to make a positive impact. She enjoys mentoring high school and college interns in stream monitoring, while introducing them to a career in field biology and environmental regulation. Erin is a member of the North American Native Fish Association and is certified as a Master Herpetologist by the Amphibian Foundation. She considers herself lucky to have spent much of her career working outside. Erin can be reached at Info@nativefishcoalition.org
