JASON EISER

JASON EISER grew up fishing for striped bass on the Chesapeake Bay, smallmouth bass on the Potomac River, and trout on the Gunpowder River and other streams in Maryland. This led to a lifelong fascination with fish, rivers, and the ecosystems they live in. After moving to eastern Tennessee in 2010, Jason quickly fell in love with the region’s mountain streams, forests, and aquatic biodiversity.  Jason spends much of his time exploring the wild native brook trout waters of eastern Tennessee and the Southern Appalachian mountains. In addition to the fish, Jason is fascinated by aquatic insect life. Jason has a background in project management with experience bringing people, resources, and ideas together to move projects forward. He looks forward to using this experience to help strengthen Native Fish Coalition’s presence in Tennessee by building relationships with conservation groups and local communities to help promote meaningful boots-on-the ground work.
