GRIFFIN OCKER

GRIFFIN OCKER is originally from Northern Virginia, where fishing for trout typically involved long drives and camping out on weekends. He made the decision to leave his hometown and move to Davis, West Virginia, to pursue his dream of a career protecting native wildlife and to have the opportunity to fish for wild native brook trout close to home. Griffin earned a degree in Animal Behavior and Sustainability from Frostburg State University. He currently works as an Inventory and Monitoring Technician at Canaan Valley National Wildlife Refuge. Griffin has a deep passion for protecting wild native fish and waterways and sees NFC as another way to help safeguard them.
