Idaho's Salmon River to Get Endangered Sockeye Salmon Informational Signs

While we do not have a presence in the state yet, NFC worked with Lonesome Larry Project, Idaho Fish & Game, and Shoshone-Bannock Fish and Game Department to develop a set of informational signs pertaining to endangered sockeye salmon in Redfish Lake and downstream.

Special thanks to our agency and tribal partners, Lonesome Larry Project founder and NFC National Advisory Council member Topher Jones, and NFC Executive Director Bob Mallard for making this important project happen.

Signs are ordered and due in early July. As soon as they some in, Topher and ID F&G personnel will begin posting. There is a 12x18” aluminum version of the sign for trees and posts, and a 9x12” corrugated plastic version for kiosk’s where space is at a premium.
