A sign project at Vermont’s state fishing access areas featuring wild native lake trout got underway this month thanks to a joint effort by the Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department and the Native Fish Coalition.

As noted recently, the Vermont chapter of NFC began posting informational signs on a group of lakes that are home to wild native lake trout. Vermont Fish & Wildlife recently blogged the project to help increase awareness.
