State Heritage Fish Sign - North Maine Woods Access

North Maine Woods supports the work of volunteers of Native Fish Coalition and will grant them and one guest free day use on land managed by North Maine Woods, Inc., for the express purpose of putting up signs associated with the joint Native Fish Coalition, Sportsman’s Alliance of Maine and Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife “State Heritage Fish” sign initiative.

The number of complimentary day passes will be relative to the number and location of the waters where signs are being placed. 

For those wishing to stay overnight or extend their stay to get some fishing in, and we highly encourage you to do so, you will be asked to pay for your camping and any additional days.
