PA NFC Opposes Proposed Stocking on Class-A Stream
“Class A designated waters represent the very best wild native brook trout waters within the Commonwealth and therefore these waters should be given increased protections. One of the protections granted Class A waters is the cessation of stocking. This policy is based in sound science, as stocking over wild native brook trout has proven to be deleterious to these populations.”
