Podcast: NFC Joins Into the Backing - The Native Fish/Introduced Fish Controversy...

NFC Executive Director Bob Mallard and National NFC National Advisory Council member Dr. Douglas Thompson recently joined fly fishing celebrity April Vokey, Publisher for The Drake magazine Tom Bie, and Trout Unlimited Editor-in-Chief of Trout Media Kirk Deeter for an episode of Into the Backing podcast.

The impetus of the podcast was to bring together different parties and viewpoints to discuss the so-called “controversy” in regard to wild native fish versus naturalized nonnative fish. In the end, as Bob said, we are probably closer than most think if folks would only let the various factions speak for themselves, not listen to others who are trying to speak for them...
