DAVID KAZYAK
DAVID KAZYAK is a Research Ecologist at the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). His research focuses on the ecology and management of native fishes, including Atlantic sturgeon and brook trout. David uses a variety of quantitative tools such as genetics and genomics, tagging and telemetry, and side-scan sonar to provide information to agencies and conservationists to help make informed management decisions. David has published more than eighteen scientific articles related to the ecology and conservation of native fish. Prior to joining USGS, David worked on coastal brook trout in Maine, amphibians in Yellowstone National Park, and conducted biological stream surveys across the state of Maryland.
