MATTHEW FINKENBINDER

MATTHEW FINKENBINDER is an Assistant Professor of Geology at Wilkes University in Pennsylvania. He is a Quaternary geologist with interests in paleoclimatology, sedimentology, geomorphology, and hydrology. Matthew teaches undergraduate level geology, environmental science, and climate science courses at Wilkes University, and mentors undergraduate and graduate students with regard to research projects. His primary research focus involves reconstructing past climate changes on a range of timescales using lake sediment archives. In addition to this work, he has broad interests in the geology of Pennsylvania, and in turn how this impacts landscapes and the morphology and hydrology of mountain streams.
