DR. ANDREW TAYLOR
DR. ANDREW TAYLOR grew up in the hills of North Georgia. His passion for fishing led him to discover the diversity of native stream bass in the state. Andrew is a fisheries scientist and Assistant Professor, Fisheries Biology, at University of North Georgia. He earned B.S. and M.S. degrees in fisheries from the University of Georgia, and a Ph.D. in fisheries and aquatic ecology from Oklahoma State University. Andrew's research is focused on the conservation of native fish biodiversity, the impacts of non-native fishes, and the management and conservation of native black bass.
