KEVIN DOCKENDORF

KEVIN DOCKENDORF is a fisheries biologist from coastal North Carolina. He has been focussed on freshwater sport fish in coastal rivers and lakes with North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission for over 20 years. Kevin received a B.S. in Fisheries and Wildlife Biology from Iowa State University in 1996 and an M.S. in Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences from the University of Florida in 2002. He has been a member of American Fisheries Society since 1999 and an AFS Certified Fisheries Professional since 2008.  Kevin served as NCAFS Chapter President in 2010 and organized Southern Division of the American Fisheries Society workshops in Asheville, North Carolina, in 2010 and 2025. He has served as NCAFS Mentoring Committee Chair since 2020 and SDAFS representative to AFS Communications Committee since 2024. Kevin is an avid angler who mostly pursues crappie and flier in ecologically unique coastal plain rivers and swamp creeks.
