WILL MUNDHENKE
“The South has long overlooked its native fish and ecosystems. These irreplaceable fish belong where they are found and it’s up to us all to steward them for the next generation.”
WILL MUNDHENKE currently serves as the State Naturalist and Director of Education for the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources. He leads the Conservation Education section which fosters stewardship and outdoor ethics on state public lands. In particular, Will has a passion for Bartram's Bass and hosts fly fishing workshops and "Fish Watching" advanced trainings for the state's Master Naturalist program. He is an advocate for all native fishes and strives to bring attention to their conservation needs through public hikes and presentations. Along with his duties with SCDNR, Will was a founding board member and inaugural Chair for the South Carolina chapter of Native Fish Coalition. Will can be reached at Info@NativeFishCoalition.org
