Rock Dam Buster Update...

NFC members and volunteers have been busy breaching manmade rock dams to help fish pass during what is an unprecedented drought in the region. These dams can block fish, warm the water, and cause siltation.

As leaves drop, and fall is coming early due to the drought conditions, these dams only get worse, and at a time when wild native brook trout are on the move looking to spawn.
