NFC National Vice Chair Emily Bastian Wikipedia Spotlight

While googling some river flow data, I noticed that the picture associated with Maine’s Magalloway River was none other than NFC founding member, former Maine Chair, and current National Vice Chair Emily Bastian.

Befittingly, the Magalloway River is second only to the Rapid River in Maine as wild native brook trout rivers go. With nonnative and highly invasive smallmouth bass now found throughout the Rapid, the Magalloway may be our best chance of maintaining large river brook trout.
