We Have a Winner: Epic 4wt Packlight Fly Rod

We have a winner for our recent raffle for a salsa red with classic cap-and-ring seat Epic 4wt Packlight fly rod. A $995 value, this 7’6”, 4-weight, 5-piece S2 glass fly rod is a handsome, versatile, and easily packed for hiking into medium size streams and small rivers.

A favorite of NFC Executive Director Bob Mallard, according to him, there is no rod in its class better suited to backcountry use than the Epic 4wt Packlight (see below)…

The winning ticket, out of 100, was #51. The winner is William from Texas. The rod would make a great tool for chasing wild native Guadalupe bass, the official State Fish of Texas. Congratulations to William, and thanks to everyone who purchased tickets in support of NFC and wild native fish.
