We Have a Winner: Epic 370 Studio Built FastGlass Fly Rod

We just drew the winner for NFC’s favorite small stream fly rod… This 7-foot, 3-weight, 4-piece Studio Built 370 FastGlass fly rod from Epic is the perfect tool for wild native trout in backcountry streams. A $925 value, the rod comes with a black uplocking reel seat, cork spacer, and small reverse wells grip.

One hundred tickets were sold at $20 for one, or $50 for three, for a total of over $1,750. We used a virtual ticket system so as not to incur any print or mailing costs, and the winner pays shipping. The entire proceeds go to wild native fish conservation.

The winning ticket, drawn from a bag by NFC Executive Director Bob Mallard, was #26. The lucky winner was Austin from Colorado. Congratulations Austin, and enjoy the fly rod, and please be sure to send us a few pictures of you and your new truly awesome fly rod.

Special thanks to Carl and our friends at Epic Fly Rods and Marshall and the folks at MidCurrent for their generous donation. And Cameron at The Fiberglass Manifesto for helping to sell tickets. Without their help, this couldn’t happen, so please support them as they have supported us. And to everyone who purchased tickets as this is one way that NFC raises money to work for wild native fish.
