JUSTIN HARDESTY

JUSTIN HARDESTY has been involved in fish conservation and watershed protection for a good portion of his life, and primarily due to the conservation work his grandmother has done in  Maine who devoted her life to protecting vulnerable watersheds.  He first picked up a fly rod around the same time he was learning how to ride a bike, and quickly grew to love wild native brook trout when his grandfather brought him to some headwater streams near Rangeley, Maine.  Today Justin lives, works, and plays in the White Mountains Region of New Hampshire, where he enjoys fishing for wild native brook trout in small mountain streams with his cattle dog, Ahna.  He is employed as a media specialist, and has done freelance photo work for Sage Fly Rods.  Justin has maintained NFC’s Instagram page since its inception.  He also served as our second NH Chair. Justin can be reached at Info@nativefishcoalition.org
