JED FEFFER
Jed Feffer is a retired teacher. In addition to teaching traditional subjects he headed up a fly fishing club for 4th and 5th graders. For three years Jed was actively involved in teaching children about trout. Jed spent one summer as a fellow at the Appalachian Lab in Frostburg, Maryland. His fellowship involved placing leaf packs in various Western Maryland streams and using the macrobiotic findings to evaluate the health of the streams. The following year he got his students involved in the program. Jed moved to Vermont full-time after spending 27 years in Maryland. He enjoys fly fishing for wild and native fish, writing, reading, snowshoeing, hiking, kayaking and canoeing. Jed can be reached at Info@nativefishcoalition.org
