Tom Johnson
TOM JOHNSON grew up in central Massachusetts where he served on the local Conservation Commission. He has a BS degree in Forestry/Wood Technology from University of Massachusetts. Tom has fished and hunted all over New England. He is also an avid fly tyer. Tom is a past board member of Central Mass TU where he organized annual banquets, etc. He has owned a home in Midcoast Maine for 16 years, and moved there full-time in 2018. Tom is an active member of Trout Unlimited and Atlantic Salmon Federation, and a long-time supporter of North Atlantic Salmon Fund (NASF). He advocates for clean, healthy waters, and the restoration of native species. Tom is the author of two books: Life On The Fly and Threaded Journeys, both of which highlight conservation, fly fishing, and fly fishing destinations.
