SCOTT DASKIEWICH
SCOTT DASKIEWICH was born and raised in the southern Tug Hill Plateau area of upstate New York. He currently lives in the Mohawk Valley area with his wife and two daughters. Scott attended University of Buffalo where he received a degree in Chemical Engineering. He began fishing the ponds and streams of the Black River Valley and western Adirondacks at a young age. Scott caught his first wild native brook trout in ponds, rather than the more popular small streams, while on family hiking trips to the Adirondack Mountains. This spurred a lifetime fascination with stillwater trout and the various challenges they face. Scott is an avid fly fisher and fly tyer, and also enjoying skiing, mountain biking, running, mushroom foraging, and hiking. He sees NFC as a key driver for protecting the wild native fish species in the Adirondack Park region where they currently face many challenges. Scott can be reached at Info@nativefishcoalition.org
