ROBERT “BOBBY” DAVIS is an assistant professor of natural resources at Northland College in Ashland, Wisconsin.  He is an avid fly fisherman and as he says, has been fishing since before he could walk.  Bobby’s passion for wild native fish was developed in college, where he pursued wild native brook trout in small streams across northern Pennsylvania.  Since then, Bobby has moved several times including to Ohio, Washington D.C., Alabama, and finally Wisconsin.  Along the way he has enjoyed fishing for native fish at every stop including shad in DC, redeye bass in Alabama, and brook trout, smallmouth, and pike in Wisconsin.  Bobby's current research at Northland is focused on efforts to improve walleye and perch management in the Midwest.  He can be reached at  Info@nativefishcoalition.org
