JOSHUA RAINS

JOSHUA RAINS is a student at North Greenville University in South Carolina where he is pursuing a BS in Biology with a concentration on animals and the environment. Growing up on the coast of Kenya, he developed an interest in wildlife which has manifested into a passion for conservation, wildlife photography, and fishing. Since moving to South Carolina, Joshua has worked to catch as many species of native fish as possible on both conventional and fly tackle. Through his multi-species angling and photography, Joshua looks to showcase the beauty and diversity of native fishes in the South Carolina to help bring attention to lesser known species, and promote their conservation. Joshua’s goal is to pursue a PhD in Marine Biology and work with local communities in developing nations to conserve and revitalize their marine ecosystems.
