TED ROSENKRANTZ
TED ROSENKRANTZ grew up in northern New Jersey where he saw firsthand the effects of air and water pollution. He started to try to do something about it by taking a course in ecology and doing research on the use of sludge, a by-product of water purification. Now living in Connecticut, Ted has continued to try to keep the land and air around him clean. Ted has fly fished since the late 1980s, and also build fly rods and ties flies. His home water is the Farmington River which has benefitted by ecological enlightenment and the desire of others to keep it clean. Tributaries to the river are home to wild native brook trout.
