BRYAN SHAMBLIN
BRYAN SHAMBLIN is a lifelong Appalachian and outdoorsperson. He grew up in southern West Virginia where he spent countless hours canoeing and fishing the Greenbrier River and its tributaries. Bryan moved north to Morgantown to pursue a degree in nursing at West Virginia University. After realizing that nursing wasn’t his thing, and some time trying to figure out what was, he decided to obtain a bachelor's degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Resource Management. It was during his studies in Wildlife and Fisheries that Bryan discovered fly fishing and the beauty of wild native fishes, as well as the conservation issues they face. Currently Bryan works as an environmental science consultant managing water quality permits, collecting samples, and conducting wetland surveys. When he is not working, Bryan is exploring small streams for wild native brook trout. Bryan can be reached at Info@nativefishcoalition.orgor on Instagram @BrookTrout304.
