GARRISON FORRESTER grew up in Cartersville, Georgia, along the Etowah River. He is pursuing a degree in fisheries management at Auburn University. As part of his studies, Garrison has worked with native redeye bass in the Mobile basin, and native shoal bass and largemouth bass in the lower Flint River basin. Garrison developed his love for bass fishing the Coosa and Tennessee River reservoirs at a young age. After graduating high school, he found his true passion, the rivers and streams of Georgia and Alabama and the wild native fish that live there. Garrison looks to use his role at NFC to help preserve the the ten native black bass species found in Georgia. He can be reached at Info@nativefishcoalition.org
