JOHN MONTEFUSCO

JOHN MONTEFUSCO has been an avid outdoorsman since being introduced to our woods and waters by his father at a very young age. He has spent over 50 years exploring wild places and hunting and fishing in various locales around the world, resulting in a love of the outdoors and desire to protect it. John has held various positions in conservation organizations, including being a board member for Hacklebarney Chapter of TU, Conservation Chair of New Jersey TU, and a founding Board Member and first Chair for Trout Power in upstate New York. He has a passion for wild native fish, especially what he refers to as “God’s Little Jewels,” Salvelinus fontinalis.  John is looking forward to working with NFC to help do what we can to protect brook trout and other native species in the Garden State.
