WILL HARRIS

Anything worth doing, is worth doing right.
— Hunter S. Thompson

WILL HARRIS grew up in northern Michigan where he spent his summers fishing for trout. Twenty years later, he found himself in Asheville, North Carolina, doing the same thing. The common theme was wild native brook trout. The difference was that they are a bit smaller in the high elevations of southern Appalachia with its shorter growing season and tougher conditions. But given the choice, Will will take the mountain trout as the places they are found are beautiful and less crowded. Will looks to use his position in NFC to help preserve the wild native fish of North Carolina for generations to come. He can be reached at Info@nativefishcoalition.org
