BRIAN HOOVER

BRIAN HOOVER lives in Towson, Maryland, where he enjoys recreating in the forests of the northern part of the state. He grew up in Northeast Ohio before moving to Maryland in 2017. Brian first learned to fish on lakes and ponds in northeastern Ohio at a young age. He developed an interest in fly fishing and coldwater fish as a result of his young sons’ love for the outdoors. This opened his eyes to the need to preserve, and where possible, restore, the wild brook trout that are native to the streams of central Maryland. Brian’s interest in wild native fish is part of a broader interest in conservation, and a desire to ensure that the next generation can enjoy and appreciate our natural resources and native species as he did. Brian currently works as an attorney for a Maryland-based financial firm. He can be reached at Info@nativefishcoalition.org
