KEITH BELANGER

KEITH BELANGER is an avid fly fisherman, grouse hunter, and hiker. He learned to fish on a small bass and sunfish pond in Southern New Hampshire. Keith soon changed his focus to fly fishing for wild native brook trout in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. A fall spawning brook trout caught at the age of 13 made him understand the natural beauty and ecological importance of native species. This in turn led to a desire to do what he could to help preserve them. Keith moved to Maine in the summer of 2023 to be closer to the resource he loves most. He currently works in higher education, and is looking to grow a career into land conservation and preservation. Keith can be reached at Info@NativeFishCoalition.org
