KEITH BELANGER

Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It’s not.
— The Lorax

KEITH BELANGER is an avid fly fisherman, grouse hunter, and hiker. He learned to fish on a small bass and sunfish pond in Southern New Hampshire. Keith soon changed his focus to fly fishing for wild native brook trout in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. A fall spawning brook trout caught at the age of 13 made him understand the natural beauty and ecological importance of native species. This in turn led to a desire to do what he could to help preserve them. While Keith moved to Maine in the summer of 2023, he still spends a lot of time in New Hampshire fishing. Keith currently works in higher education, and is looking to grow a career into land conservation and preservation. Heh can be reached at Info@NativeFishCoalition.org
