KEITH BELANGER

Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It’s not.
— The Lorax

KEITH BELANGER is an avid fly fisherman, grouse hunter, and hiker. He learned to fish on a small bass and sunfish pond in Southern New Hampshire. Keith soon changed his focus to fly fishing for wild native brook trout in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. A fall spawning brook trout caught at 13 made him understand the natural beauty and ecological importance of native species. This, in turn, led to a desire to do what he could to help preserve them. Keith has lived in New Hampshire, Maine, and now North Carolina. With all these moves, his passion for the natural world and preserving it never wavered. Keith currently works in higher education and is looking to grow a career in land conservation and reservation. He can be reached at Info@NativeFishCoalition.org
