DILLON RAGUSA

There is a delight in the hardy life of the open. There are no words that can tell the hidden spirit of the wilderness that can reveal its mystery, its melancholy and its charm. The nation behaves well if it treats the natural resources as assets which it must turn over to the next generation increased and not impaired in value. Conservation means development as much as it does protection...
— Theodore Roosevelt

DILLON RAGUSA grew up in Wake Forest, North Carolina. He earned a Bachelors of Arts in History from North Carolina State University and a Masters of Construction Management from East Carolina University. Currently, Dillon resides in Raleigh, where he works as a project manager in commercial HVAC/Automation. From a young age, Dillon developed a passion for the outdoors and conservation. His interest in conservation and protecting wild native fish species stemmed from the realization as a child that the stories he heard about the natural resources from his grandfather's generation were becoming increasingly scarce. Dillon looks to bring awareness and solutions to the negatively impacted waterways across the state so that the wild native fish can thrive in their home waters once again for folks to enjoy and protect.
