CHARLES LAFFEY is a lifelong resident of western Maryland.  He is a passionate fly fisherman spending much of his time on streams in pursuit of trout.  After retiring from what he refers to as his “real world” job in 2011, Charlie became a licensed fly fishing guide.  He and a fellow fly fisher wrote and teach an Introduction to Fly Fishing class during the spring semester at Potomac State College in Keyser, West Virginia.
