CHRISTOPHER GOSSELIN grew up on Chebeague Island and the Town of Yarmouth in Maine. He attended the University of Maine, Orono, where he obtained degrees in Wildlife Management/Secondary Science Education and School Leadership. He specialized in eagles, hawks and owls, along with Watershed Ecology. Chris is a lifelong education professional with a passion for people and teaching. He spent over thirty years as a high school biology/ecology teacher and school principal, where he focused on the environment and conservation. After retiring from education, Chris went to work as a member of L.L.Bean’s Hunting and Fishing store team, where he focuses on customer experience. Chris enjoys all forms of outdoor activities including turkey and upland game hunting, and fly fishing. He is also an avid fly tyer, fly rod builder and woodworker, including building his own driftboat. Chris is looking forward to educating future generations about the importance of native flora and fauna, and the need to protect it. He can be reached at Info@nativefishcoalition.org
