BRAD PENNINGTON

Of all the questions which can come before this nation, short of the actual preservation of its existence in a great war, there is none which compares in importance with the great central task of leaving this land even a better land for our descendants than it is for us.
— Theodore Roosevelt

BRAD PENNINGTON lives in Oreland, Pennsylvania. Conservation and the outdoors have been a large part of Brad’s life. He learned earth science from his father, a geologist, outdoor skills as a Boy Scout, and hands on volunteering in adulthood through his involvement with a variety of local organizations including Kiwanis International, Friends of the Wissahickon, Natural Lands, and Trout Unlimited. Brad also served on the board for One House At a Time assisting homeless transitions to housed families. He took up fly fishing several years ago which has exposed him to more remote areas and wild native fish such as brook trout and striped bass. Brad looks to use his affilaition with NFC to help increase awareness in regard to wild native fish and protect, preserve, and restore these unique resources.
