NATALIE ELIASON grew up in Maine where she fished for wild native brook trout in streams with her father. Along with her husband Brian and son Dryden, both also RI NFC board members, Natalie is an avid angler with a great appreciation for wild native fish. Natalie is a science specialist and curriculum consultant at the East Bay Educational Collaborative in Warren, Rhode Island. She works in schools in Rhode Island and across New England to improve science achievement in grades K-8 with a special focus on outdoor education and stewardship of the land. Natalie believes that science education is essential for the next generation to feel a connection to nature and become the key to conserving native species and habitats.
