STEPHEN ROCK
STEPHEN ROCK grew up in Massachusetts and has lived in New Hampshire for over 30 years. He has lived all around the state, residing in the Lakes Region for the last 20 years. A Marine veteran, Stephen currently works in IT for Southern New Hampshire University. A fly fisher for over 30 years, he has explored New Hampshire's diverse waters, pursuing saltwater, warmwater, and coldwater species. A former certified Fly Fishing Instructor with the Federation of Fly Fishers and a former licensed Fishing Guide in New Hampshire, he has used his expertise to teaching others what it means to be a steward of the resource. Stephen's goal is to use fly fishing to educate others as to the intricacies of wild native fish ecology, with a particular focus on native char and Atlantic salmon. His commitment to preserving native fish species and promoting sustainable fishing practices aligns perfectly with the goals of the Native Fish Coalition.
