DOMINIC BROWN

Wildness is the preservation of the World.
— Henry David Thoreau

DOMINIC BROWN grew up in the Boston area where he fly fished local ponds and rivers with a rod given to him by his father at an early age. Through fly fishing, Dominic gained an appreciation for wild native fish and the habitats that support them. His primary focus is striped bass in Boston Harbor here he has seen firsthand the boom-and-bust cycle of the fishery over the years. Dominic is also an avid trout fisherman, having lived in the Northern Rockies for several years.  He looks to use his role with NFC to help with promote conservation efforts and to better understand the impact that climate, development, and other factors have on wild native fish.
