BRODY KING

BRODY KING was born and raised in Nashville, Arkansas. He studied music at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro where he was able to explore northeast Arkansas’ forests, lakes and streams. This resulted in a a desire to help preserve the wildness of these places. A frequent volunteer in his university’s biological studies, Brody monitored the effectiveness of American kestrels as an alternative to pesticides in agriculture fields. Brody also surveyed native bat populations that were residing in highway culverts due to a lack of suitable natural habitat. He currently works as a Park Interpreter at Lake Frierson State Park where he offers programs that highlight the biodiversity and recreational opportunities the lake and its surrounding lands provide.
