DREW KLINGBERG
DREW KLINGBERG developed a passion for native fish and conservation while growing up in Illinois and fishing the waters across the Midwest and Florida. Upon graduating high school, Drew moved to Southern California where he joined the U.S. Coast Guard Reserves. After balancing military service, civilian life, and deployments, Drew pursued his passion and began a career with the California Department of Fish and Wildlife. In addition to working at a trout hatchery in the Eastern Sierra Mountains, Drew worked in public outreach, remote spawning, aquatic surveys, and conservation initiatives. During this time, Drew also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Fisheries and Wildlife Sciences from Oregon State University. In 2019, Drew relocated to North Carolina, where he now serves as the Course Chief for expeditionary operations at the U.S. Coast Guard Special Missions Training Center on Camp Lejeune. An avid angler and conservationist, Drew spends his free time fishing, tying flies, and building boats. Drew can be reached at Info@NativeFishColaition.org
